Panel Techician

Job Overview

The Panel Technician is responsible for the building of electronic panels, including the construction of back plates, wiring of electronic equipment, and installing backplates into enclosures by following drawings or procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Install and wire electronic components on backplate

  • Dimensionally lay out templates and cut and drill holes according to provided schematics

  • Mount devices to enclosures using a variety of methods

  • Operate computerized terminal and labeling equipment

  • Check work to ensure error-free products

  • Keep red lines of any changes required during manufacturing and turn in to supervisor upon project completion

  • Maintain a neat, tidy, and safe workplace

  • Perform Quality Assurance checks

  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor

In addition to technical knowledge and experience, candidates must demonstrate: strong problem-solving ability, perseverance and orderliness, personal accountability, goal-oriented drive, composure under pressure, reliable attendance, individual initiative, collaborative teamwork, sound judgment, fairness and empathy toward coworkers, and effective communication skills.
